Gyros in Metaxa sour cream sauce

1 Onions
2 Garlic cloves
1 Tomatoes
2 tsp Olive Oil
80 g Rice
1 tbsp Cream
2 tbsp Tomatoes pulp
0,1 l Vegetable broth
400 g Gyros Sliced
2 tbsp Metaxa
2 tsp Food starch
150 g Sour cream
1 tbsp Smooth parsley

Greek tomato rice is served with gyros in Metaxa sour cream sauce. Finely dice 1/2 onion and 1 garlic clove. Scald tomato with boiling water. Skin and dice. Heat olive oil in a pot. Sauté onion, garlic and rice. Stir in cream. Add 1 tablespoon tomato pulp and tomato cubes. Pour in vegetable stock. Bring to the boil briefly. Let rice swell for 20 minutes on low heat. For Gyros in Metaxa Schmand Sauce first preheat a pan. Sauté the Gyros cutlets vigorously. Deglaze with Metaxa. Mix in 1 tablespoon tomato pulp. Dilute with a little water. Mix starch with a little cold water. Slightly thicken Gyros in Metaxa sauce. Switch to lowest heat. Stir sour cream into the sauce. Chop parsley finely. Sprinkle on top.
