Meatloaf Croque Monsieur Baguette

Meatloaf Croque Monsieur Baguette is easy to prepare. The meatloaf can be served hot or cold. Preheat oven to 180° C. Knead beef mince, egg, breadcrumbs, flour and mustard. Season with pepper, salt and herbs from Provence. Dice shallot finely and mix in. Cut beef mince in half. Form into two rolls the same diameter as the baguette. Lightly grease the baking tray. Place the meat loaf on top. Bake on the middle shelf for 40 minutes. For Croque Monsieur cut the baguette into three pieces. For the sauce, mix Danish tartar sauce, ketchup and mustard. Cut Croque Monsieur Baguette open. Spread a thin layer of sauce on the lower halves. Spread iceberg lettuce on top. Cut tomatoes into slices. Place on top. Cut meat loaf into thick slices. Spread on the croque monsieur. Cover with cucumber salad. Spread the rest of the sauce over it. Sprinkle with roasted onions. Place the upper halves of the baguette on the Croque Monsieur meatloaf.
