Apple Matjes Salad Canapes

For apple matjes salad canapes first cut matjes into strips and fill into a bowl. Peel apple, cut into short slices and add. Dice beetroot and mix in. Cut the gherkins into slices and add. For the marinade of the apple matjes mix salad oil, sherry wine and sherry vinegar. Season with pepper and finely chopped dill. Mix the marinade with the apple matjes salad. Cut the baguette into slices for the canapes. Spread thinly with butter. Put Romana salad on the canapes. Pour apple matjes salad into a sieve. Drain well and arrange on the canapes.
