Syrian meatballs

For Syrian meatballs, carefully mix the minced meat and egg. Season with pepper, salt, cumin, turmeric and a pinch of cinnamon. Chop the onions, garlic and parsley very finely and mix into the minced meat. Form 8 small Syrian meatballs with slightly moistened hands and press flat slightly. Heat the oil in a pan. Fry Syrian meatballs 2 to 3 minutes per side. Syrian meatballs taste warm or cold with flat bread, yoghurt sauce and salad.
