250 g Wheat wholemeal flour
0,5 tsp Salt
0,16 l Hot water
10 g Butter Lard

Chapati Indian flat bread is simply baked in the pan. Mix flour with salt. Gradually add water and knead until the dough no longer sticks. Cover and let rest for 1 hour. Sprinkle the worktop with flour. Form the dough into a roll, cut into 12 pieces and form into small balls. Roll out Chapati Indian flat bread into thin circles of 15 cm diameter. Heat a pan. Bake Chapati Indian flat bread briefly at high temperature from both sides until brown spots form. Melt the lard. Place the finished Chapati in a bowl, spread with lard and keep covered and warm until serving.
