BBQ Chicken Wings

BBQ Chicken Wings are simply baked in the oven. Preheat the oven to 180°. Rinse chicken wings briefly, dry thoroughly with kitchen paper and fill into a bowl. Add rapeseed oil and a pinch of salt, mix carefully and spread the chicken wings on a grid. Slide the BBQ Chicken Wings onto the middle shelf, place a baking tray underneath to drain, and pre-bake for 20 minutes. Meanwhile stir BBQ sauce with lime juice until smooth and season with pepper from the mill, chilli flakes and garlic pressed through the garlic press. After 20 minutes increase the temperature to 200°. Brush the BBQ Chicken Wings with half of the BBQ sauce and bake for another 15 minutes. Turn the chicken wings over, brush with the remaining BBQ sauce and bake for 15 minutes. Potato wedges with sour cream go well with this.
