Bread muffins with tomato butter

Bread muffins with tomato butter

Bread muffins with tomato butter are very easy to prepare, taste savory and look decorative. Mix a bread baking mixture for farmers or country bread with lukewarm water. Dried tomatoes without soaking in small cubes cut and mix under the dough. Grease six wells in a muffin tin, sprinkle with a little flour and fill in the dough. Place a tea towel over the bread muffins and leave to rise at room temperature for 45 minutes. Preheat the oven to 230°. Bake bread muffins on the middle rack for 25 minutes. Mix soft butter and tomato pulp. Season tomato butter with pressed garlic, pepper and salt and fill into a piping bag. Sprinkle small butter rosettes on a plate and put in the fridge until serving. Turn bread muffins from the tin onto a grid, let cool and decorate with tomato butter and cress.
