Broccoli cream potatoes

Broccoli cream potatoes taste very good as a side dish with turkey escalope or chicken breast fillet. Cut the broccoli into florets. Peel the potatoes and cut into small cubes. Finely dice a small onion. Leave butter in a pan, sauté onions and potatoes and deglaze with vegetable stock. Cover with a lid, bring the potatoes to the boil and cook at medium heat for about 15 minutes. Pour in the cream, add the broccoli, put on the lid, bring the broccoli cream potatoes to the boil again briefly and simmer at medium heat for approx. 10 minutes. Stir in cream fraiche herbs and season lightly with salt and pepper. Lightly fry the almond leaves in a pan without adding fat and sprinkle the potatoes over the broccoli cream shortly before serving.
