Almond muesli bar

50 g Almonds
50 g Almond splinters
100 g Chopped almonds
50 g Dried Apricots
100 g Coarse oat flakes
50 g Brown sugar
50 g Honey
0,5 tsp Lemon juice
25 g Butter

For the almond muesli bar mix whole almonds, almond slivers and chopped almonds in a bowl. Cut the dried apricots into small cubes and mix with coarse oat flakes. Bring brown sugar with honey, lemon juice and butter to the boil briefly in a pan, reduce the temperature slightly and leave to caramelise for 3-4 minutes. Add the almond mixture for the muesli bars, stir carefully and brown lightly. Pour the mixture for the almond muesli bars on baking paper and form a rectangle of approx. 20 x 15 cm, approx. 2 cm high. Place cling film on top and press the almond muesli bar mass firmly into place with a kitchen board. Remove the cling film, let the mixture dry for approx. 15 minutes and cut into 6 muesli bars. When the almond muesli bars are completely cooled and crispy, they can be kept in a biscuit tin for a long time.
