Apple nut waffle

120 g Margarine
120 g Sugar
1 packet Bourbon Vanilla Sugar
3 Eggs
200 g Wheat Flour Type 405
1 tsp Back Powder
60 g Ground hazelnuts
1 tsp Ground cinnamon
0,25 l Butter Milk
1 Apple
1 tbsp Lemon juice

Apple nut waffle tastes best freshly baked. For the nut dough, stir the margarine, sugar and vanilla sugar until creamy. Separate the eggs in two bowls. Stir the egg yolks into the margarine. Mix flour, baking powder, hazelnuts and cinnamon. Alternate with butter and stir the milk into the margarine. Peel and quarter the apple and remove the core. Grate the apple coarsely. Mix with lemon juice. Stir the apple into the nut dough. Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff. Lift loosely under the dough. Preheat waffle iron. Grease lightly before each baking cycle. For each apple nut waffle spread 2 lightly heaped tablespoons of dough in the waffle iron. Bake until the nut waffle starts to brown.
