Bruschetta with ham and pesto

Bruschetta with ham and pesto
Quantity Ingredient
6 tbsp Olive Oil
30 g Walnut kernels
100 g Rucola Salad
30 g Grana Padano cheese
250 g Ciabatta bread
200 g Parma ham

Bruschetta with ham and pesto tastes particularly good with fresh Ciabatta and Parma ham as antipasti. For the pesto, first pour 3 tablespoons of olive oil into a blender jug. Peel and quarter the garlic and add with the walnuts. Rinse the rocket salad, dry and put into the mixing bowl. Add the remaining olive oil and blend with a hand blender to a creamy pesto. Season the pesto with salt. Gouge off 10 thin slices of Grana Padano and set aside. Finely grate the rest of the Grana Padano and stir into the pesto. Cut the ciabatta into slightly thicker slices and roast until crispy in a toaster, oven or under the grill. Bruschetta still warm with Pesto coat and Parma on it arrange. Place a slice of finely sliced Grana Padano on the bruschetta with ham and pesto and serve immediately.
