Bavarian cabbage
Quantity Ingredient
500 g White cabbage
1 Onions
20 g Butter
1 tsp Sugar
2 tsp Caraway
5 tbsp White Wine
Pepper & Salt

For Bayrisch Kraut, first cut white cabbage into strips. Cut onion into small cubes. Heat butter in a pot. Sauté onions. Sprinkle with sugar and season with caraway seeds. Let the sugar caramelise until slightly brownish. Add Bavarian cabbage. Stir-fry for a few minutes. Deglaze with wine. Put the lid on. Steam Bavarian cabbage on medium heat for 10 to 15 minutes until soft. Season Bavarian cabbage with salt and pepper.
