Bacon Dumplings

1 Eggs
0,1 l Milk
100 g White bread
50 g Streaky bacon
Pepper & Salt
1 tbsp Parsley
1 tbsp Wheat Flour Type 405
1,5 l Water
2 tsp Instant broth

Bacon dumplings can be served as a savoury side dish with roast meat or sauerkraut, but also taste good as soup garnish in strong beef meat broth. For the dumplings, first whisk an egg with milk. Cut stale white bread into small cubes. Add and let it swell for a few minutes. Cut streaky bacon into very small cubes. Fry in a pan without adding fat until crispy. Let it cool down. Add bacon to the white bread. Season with pepper, salt and finely chopped parsley. Sprinkle a slightly heaped tablespoon of Wheat Flour Type 405 over it. Knead the mixture with slightly moistened hands. Form two dumplings. Bring water to the boil in a pot. Season with instant broth. Reduce the temperature so that the stock no longer boils. Add bacon dumplings. Let it simmer for 15 minutes.
