Canapes with meatballs taste particularly juicy because they are prepared from a mixture of fat minced meat and lean beef steak minced meat. Canapes with meatballs are well suited for a rustic cold buffet. Knead the minced meat, egg and breadcrumbs together. Season with salt and pepper. Form 3 meatballs. Heat the lard in a pan. Fry the meatballs briefly and press them flatter. Turn and fry at medium temperature for 3 minutes per side. Place the meatballs on kitchen paper and allow to cool. Cut the baguette into slices for the canapes. Spread with remoulade. Cover with salad. Cut the meatballs into 4 slices each. Use end pieces elsewhere. Arrange two slices each on the canapes. Cut the onion into thin slices. Canapes with Buletten with onion rings and mustard decorate.
