White Sausage Salad

White sausage salad goes particularly well with fresh pretzels and beer. Bring water to a boil in a saucepan. Reduce the temperature, add the white sausage and leave to stand for 10 minutes. Drain the water. Let the white sausage cool, peel off the skin and cut the white sausage into slices. For the salad marinade mix liquid broth, vinegar, oil and mustard and season with salt and pepper. Cut the onions in half, cut into slices and place in the salad marinade. Add the white sausage to the mixture. Sprinkle cress over the salad. Serve fresh lye pretzel with white sausage salad.
