Country Potatoes & Blue Cheese Dip

Country Potatoes & Blue Cheese Dip

Country Potatoes & Blue Cheese Dip is an American variant of baked potatoes served with a creamy Gorgonzola Dip. It is best to use organic potatoes of a semi-solid cooking variety, as the peel can be eaten with it. Preheat the oven to 200° and line a baking tray with baking paper. Brush the potatoes thoroughly under running water and let them dry on kitchen paper. Cut the potatoes lengthwise into pieces as large as possible, as shown in the picture above, and pour into a bowl. Mix the potatoes with sunflower oil and season with ground pepper, salt and paprika powder. Place Country Potatoes on the baking tray and bake on the middle shelf for approx. 40-45 minutes. For the Blue Cheese Dip Sour Cream with mayonnaise stir until smooth. Cut the creamy gorgonzola into small pieces, add and crush lightly with a fork, so that some small pieces of the gorgonzola are still present in the dip. Season the Blue Cheese Dip with freshly ground pepper from the mill and Worcester sauce. Salt is not necessary because the Gorgonzola is already spicy enough. Arrange Country Potatoes & Blue Cheese Dip on plates and serve immediately.
