Apple cake

Apple cake

125 g Margarine
125 g Sugar
1 packet Bourbon Vanilla Sugar
1 tsp Lemon peel
3 Eggs
200 g Wheat Flour Type 405
2 tsp Back Powder
1 tbsp Milk
1 tbsp Breadcrumbs flour
25 g Butter
800 g Apple
50 g Apricot jam
1 tbsp Cold water

This classic apple cake tastes very juicy and keeps fresh for several days. Cream soft margarine, sugar, bourbon vanilla sugar, a pinch of salt and finely grated lemon peel until foamy. Stir in the eggs little by little. Mix flour with 2 level teaspoons baking powder. Stir in flour and milk. Grease the bottom of a 26 springform pan. Sprinkle flour with breadcrumbs. Pour in the dough. Smooth with a moistened cake slice. Preheat baking oven to 180° C. Melt the butter. Peel apples, quarter them, core them and cut them into fan-shaped pieces. Spread the apples on the dough. Brush with butter. Bake apple cake on the middle rack for 45 minutes. Bring the jam to the boil briefly with water. Spread the cake on the hot apple. Remove the edge from the mould. Place the apple cake on a grid grid. Let the apple cake cool completely before slicing.
