Canapes with beer ham taste especially good if you use fresh beer ham from the meat counter or from the slaughterhouse. In order to keep the beer ham fresh, as you can see in the picture above, one should cover canapes with beer ham only shortly before serving and keep the beer ham well covered in the refrigerator for a long time. Cut the baguette into slightly thicker slices and spread with herb cheese. Place a small leaf of lettuce on each of the canapes and arrange the beer and ham decoratively on top. To prevent the beer from slipping, it is best to use small wooden skewers such as toothpicks, which are decorated with silver onions and small pieces of tomato.
