Adana Kebap

Adana Kebap

Adana Kebap is a spicy minced meat skewer made from lamb minced, which is served on flat bread. I used a flat pita bread, as you can see in the picture above, as it gets crispier when grilling and looks more decorative. Preheat the oven to 240° and lightly brush a baking tray with oil. Peel an onion and garlic, cut into fine cubes and knead with lamb mince. Season the lamb mince with a level tablespoon of paprika pulp, pepper, salt, paprika powder and cumin. Place three skewers on the baking tray and cover with lamb chopping. Press the minced meat flat and press it in wave-like with your fingers. Place the two peppers and the chilli pepper between the Adana Kebap. Place the tomatoes on the edge of the baking tray. Brush the vegetables lightly with a little olive oil and place the tray on the top rail in the oven. Switch on the grill and grill the Adana Kebap for about 8-10 minutes. Remove the vegetables from the oven after 7-8 minutes. Place the flat bread under the grill and grill for about 1-2 minutes, cut into slightly wider strips and cover with Adana Kebap. Arrange the grilled vegetables next to it. Cacik or spicy dips go well with this.
