250 g Matjes herring
2 Buns
50 g Salad Cream
75 g Yogurt
Pepper & Salt
1 tbsp Parsley
1 tbsp Cut leek
20 g Romana salad
0,5 White Onion

Matje's rolls are popular as a snack at almost any time of day. If the matjes herring is too salty, it can be put in milk. For the dressing, mix salad cream and yoghurt. Season with salt and pepper. Chop parsley finely and add. Cut leek into fine rolls and mix in. Cut open bread roll. Spread both halves with dressing. Place salad on the lower halves of the rolls. Cover with herring. Cut onion into rings. Spread on the matjes. Place the top half of the rolls on top. Press on lightly.
