170 g Raisins
120 g Oat flakes
60 g Dark chocolate
100 g Margarine
200 g Brown cane sugar

Almond raisins cookies become crispy and are long lasting. This American pastry is more substantial than normal biscuits and can replace a small snack or breakfast. Preheat baking oven to 190° C. Line two baking trays with baking paper. Stir the margarine and sugar until creamy. Stir in the egg and a few drops of almond oil. In a bowl mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and a pinch of salt and stir into the margarine. Since the dough gets quite firm, you should knead the almonds, raisins and oat flakes one after the other with the dough hook. Chop the chocolate into small cubes and knead under the dough. For almond raisins cookies do not place more than 12 small piles of dough on each tray and press gently flat. Bake the trays one after the other on the middle rack for 15 minutes. Almond raisins cookies to cool on a cake grid lay. Allow almond raisins cookies to cool completely before placing them in a cookie jar so that the cookies do not become soft again.
