Vegetable casserole

This casserole is prepared with Kaiser vegetables and is particularly suitable for small households or singles. Preheat the oven to 220°. Put the frozen vegetables in a saucepan, cover lightly with broth, cover with a lid and bring to the boil once. Reduce the temperature to medium and cook the vegetables in 6 to 8 minutes until al dente. Season with a little pepper and salt and pour into a casserole dish with the broth. Cut cooked ham into strips and sprinkle with grated Emmentaler over the casserole. Bake the casserole on the middle rack for 8 to 10 minutes. Vegetable casserole goes very well with fried meat or poultry.
