Potato Salad

This potato salad is a classic among potato salads. It tastes just as good with meatballs or sausages as it does with grilled or short roasted meat, fish or chicken. If you prepare larger quantities and keep the potato salad covered in the fridge, you should not mix in the chives and onions until shortly before serving, otherwise they will taste bitter. Boil the firm potatoes as a coat of potatoes in approx. 20 minutes until done. Pell potatoes afterwards for faster cooling in cold water put. For the salad sauce, stir mayonnaise with mustard and gherkin water until creamy, as shown in the picture above. Season the salad sauce with pepper and salt. Cut onion and gherkin into small cubes and mix in. Peel the potatoes, cut into slices and fold into the salad sauce. Cut the chives into rolls. Mix half of the chives with the potato salad. Pour the potato salad into a decorative bowl and sprinkle with the remaining chives shortly before serving.
