Curry sausage with onion sauce

250 g Onions
2 Garlic cloves
10 g Ginger
1 Chilli pod
3 tbsp Sherry wine
3 tbsp Soy sauce
5 tbsp Ketchup
1 tbsp Sunflower Oil
3 Curry sausage

Curry sausage with onion sauce tastes very piquant. Depending on your wishes, you can increase the sharpness by using more chilli peppers. Peel onions and cut into small cubes. Heat 2 tablespoons of sunflower oil in a pot and fry the onions in it at medium temperature with a spoon until golden brown while stirring. Peel garlic and ginger, cut into fine cubes and sauté briefly. Cut the chilli pepper in half lengthwise, remove the white seeds and skins and cut the pod into fine cubes. Add the chilli to the onion, vegetables and sauté briefly. Deglaze with a dry sherry or sake and season with light soy sauce. Stir the ketchup into the onion sauce and keep warm at the lowest temperature. Heat 1 tablespoon sunflower oil in a large coated pan and fry the curry sausage all around at medium temperature. Serve curry sausage with onion sauce and french fries.
