Cannelloni noodle casserole with ham

Cannelloni noodle casserole with ham

For the filling of cannelloni with ham, first put cream cheese with herbs in a bowl and mix with an egg. Season the cream cheese with freshly ground pepper and a little salt. Halve the red peppers, remove the white seeds and skins and cut into small cubes. Mix the paprika cubes with the fresh cheese cream. Dice the cooked ham and well drained mozzarella as small as possible and mix with the fresh cheese cream. Grate Grana Padano or Parmesan and add to the cheese filling until a slightly thick cream is obtained. Peel onion and garlic and cut into small cubes. Clean the perennial celery and cut into fine rings. Heat olive oil in a coated pan and sauté the prepared vegetables in it. Add tomato cubes and season with pepper, salt and Italian herbs. Fill the cannelloni with the ham and cheese mixture and place in a lightly greased casserole dish. Spread the tomato sauce over the cannelloni with ham and sprinkle with the rest of the grated Grana Padano. Bake cannelloni with ham in a preheated oven at 200° for approx. 30 minutes.
