Fried sausage casserole

Fried sausage casserole

For the Brat Wurst casserole you can use coarse or fine Brat Wurst. Boil boiled potatoes from firm potatoes, let cool in cold water, peel and slice. Cut the coarse fried sausage into thick slices. Peel onion and dice finely. Heat butter in a frying pan and fry sausage slices in it. Add the onion cubes and fry briefly. Peel the roots, cut into slices and fry with them. Clean the leek, cut into rings and add to the pan. Add the vegetable stock and season with salt and pepper. Put on a lid and do not cook the roots too softly. Put the cream fraiche herbs in a bowl and mix with the grated Gouda. Preheat oven to 200°. Lightly grease a casserole dish and fill in potato slices alternating with the Brat Wurst vegetable mixture. Cover the Brat Wurst casserole with the cheese cream and bake on the middle shelf at 200° for approx. 15-20 minutes.
