Roll with baked ham

Buns with baked ham can be prepared very well. Put a sieve on a bowl. Fill the sauerkraut into the sieve and squeeze. Collect the juice. Dice onions. Heat goose fat in a pot. Sauté onions. Add sauerkraut. Braise vigorously. Season with pepper, salt and caraway. Add sauerkraut juice. Cut open rye rolls. Cover the lower halves of the rye rolls with sauerkraut. Arrange baked ham on top. Place the top halves of the rye rolls on the baked ham.
