Rump steak with herb marinade

Marinate rump steak with herb marinade for at least 2 hours or overnight. For the herb marinade, pour olive oil into a shallow casserole dish. Finely grate the lime zest and add. Press garlic through the garlic press and add. Halve the chilli pod lengthwise, remove the seeds and cut into fine strips. Sprinkle the chilli in the marinade. Remove the needles from the thyme twig and rosemary twig. Chop the herbs finely and mix in. Season two slices of rump steak with ground pepper. Cut the fat edge several times. Turn the rump steak in the herb marinade and let it stand. Season rump steak with salt only after grilling or roasting. Put the rump steak with herb marinade on a well preheated charcoal grill or grill it in a grill pan for 5 to 6 minutes.
