Banana wheat beer tastes best with yeast white beer. The banana taste harmonizes well with the fresh taste of white beer and gives it only a slight sweetness. Give well chilled white beer in a white beer glass. Hold the glass at an angle so that too much foam does not develop. The neck of the bottle should dip as deep as possible into the beer glass and is then slowly pulled upwards, so that the opening of the beer bottle is always just above the foam crown of the banana wheat beer. As the yeast settles at the bottom of the bottle, a small amount of the white beer is shaken up in the bottle and tipped into the white beer glass. When the foam crown has settled a little, the glass is filled with well cooled banana juice.
