200 g Currant Jelly
2 tbsp Orange juice
1 tbsp Port Wine
1 tsp Mustard
Ginger powder
0,5 tsp Lemon peel

Cumberland Sauce is a classic sauce from England, which is served cold with game or lamb. But it also goes very well with minced meat pâté and liver pâté. For the Cumberland sauce, pour the currant jelly into a saucepan. Add the juice and port wine to the freshly squeezed orange juice and heat lightly while stirring. Season Cumberland sauce with mustard, ginger and finely grated lemon peel. Cumberland Sauce can be kept in a closed jar for several days in the refrigerator.
