Quantity Ingredient
3 Fresh figs
10 g Butter
2 tbsp Cognac
2 tbsp Cream
2 tsp Vanilla Sugar
25 g Ground hazelnuts
25 g Ground almonds
20 g Chopped pistachios

Figs al forno are served warm as dessert. Preheat oven to 225° C. Wash and dry fresh figs and cut off the stalks. Cut them crosswise so that the base still hangs together. Grease a casserole dish with butter. Place figs al forno in the baking dish. Mix 1 tbsp. cognac with cream and vanilla sugar. Stir ground hazelnuts and ground almonds into the cream. Keep some chopped pistachios for sprinkling. Stir the remaining pistachios into the nut cream. Fill the nut cream into the figs al forno. Sprinkle with pistachios. Bake in the middle rack for 10 minutes. Place the figs al forno on the dessert plate. Dissolve the juice in the mould with 1 tbsp. cognac. Drizzle over the figs al forno.
