Wild Garlic Potato Gratin

500 g Potatoes
10 g Butter
50 g Wild garlic
100 g Cream
0,2 l Milk
Pepper & Salt
Ground nutmeg
90 g Gruyère cheese

For the wild garlic potato gratin it is best to use a semi-solid potato variety. Peel and wash the potatoes and plane them into fine slices. Brush a casserole dish with butter. Rinse the wild garlic briefly under running water, dry and cut into fine strips. Mix the wild garlic with the potatoes and salt lightly. Layer the potatoes in the casserole dish like roof tiles. I layered the bear's garlic potato gratin in an ovenproof iron pan because it looks particularly decorative. Mix the cream with the milk. Season with pepper, salt and nutmeg. Finely grate the Gruyère or another spicy cheese, mix with the milk cream mixture and pour the potato gratin over the wild garlic. Bake in the preheated oven at 180° on the middle rack for approx. 35-40 minutes until golden brown.
