Apple jam with honey tastes particularly good with a bitterly sour apple variety. Peel and dice the apples and weigh one kilo. Pour apples into a pot and add lemon juice. Stir in 500 g jam sugar 2:1. Add the cinnamon stick and let the apple jam boil for 3 minutes while stirring. Place the pot on a coaster. Remove the cinnamon stick and stir in the honey. Apple jam with honey still hot in 3 cooked jam jars fill. Place the cling film on the openings and close with the lids. Leave glasses upside down for 5 minutes. The calories are calculated per jar of apple jam with honey. If you use about 20 g apple jam with honey per portion, this is about 50 kcal.
