Bavarian cabbage with bacon

500 g White cabbage
50 g Streaky bacon
30 g Pigs lard
1 tsp Sugar
0,25 l Beef Meat Broth
1 tbsp White wine vinegar

For Bavarian cabbage with bacon, white cabbage is cut into fine strips. Cut streaky bacon into cubes. Heat pork lard in a stew pot. Fry bacon until crispy. Mix in sugar and let it caramelise. Add Bavarian cabbage. Braise briefly. Beef meat broth cast on. Add white wine vinegar. Sprinkle caraway seeds over the Bavarian cabbage with bacon. Put the lid on. Braise on low temperature for 20 minutes. Remove the lid. Cook Bavarian cabbage with bacon for 5 minutes on medium heat until the liquid evaporates. Stir from time to time so that the Bavarian Cabbage does not burn. Season lightly with salt.
