American biscuits are available classic with white sugar icing. For children's birthdays they can also be decorated with chocolate lenses, rubber bears or colorful crumbles. This pastry recipe is enough for 6 large Americans, or 12 small Americans. Cream margarine, sugar, vanilla sugar and eggs. Mix flour with baking powder and add. Season with a few drops of lemon aroma. Stir in the milk. Preheat baking oven to 180° C. Line the tray with baking paper. For American pastries, place 1 heaped tbsp. dough on the baking tray. Leave plenty of space in between, as the dough doubles during baking. Bake in the middle of the oven for 15 to 20 minutes until light brown. For the icing powder mix sugar and lemon juice. Spread the glaze on the American pastry while it is still warm.
