Cretan potatoes with lamb
Quantity Ingredient
600 g Potatoes
Garlic
Pepper & Salt
400 g Sour cream
4 tbsp Cream
400 g Lamb Steak
1 tbsp Olive Oil
Fresh Rosemary

For Cretan potatoes, the peeled raw potatoes must be planed into very thin slices. Rub a casserole dish with garlic and brush with 1 tablespoon olive oil. Mix sour cream and cream together. Season with salt and pepper. Pour a layer of potatoes into the casserole dish, season with pepper and salt and cover with half of the cream. Spread the remaining potatoes on it, season and spread the rest of the cream over it. Bake the Cretan potatoes in the preheated oven at 200° for 50 to 60 minutes on the middle shelf. Put the lamb steaks in a marinade of olive oil, pepper, salt, garlic and grated rosemary. Shortly before the end of the baking time of the Cretan potatoes, fry the lamb steak crispy on both sides in a pan. Reduce the temperature to medium heat and fry the lamb steak for 5 to 6 minutes.
