Sugar

Sugar comes in many different varieties and forms. Gelling sugar is used for cooking jam. Candy sugar tastes very good in tea. Powdered sugar is used to dust cakes. Cane sugar and sugar syrup are used for cocktails. If sugar is mentioned in the recipes as an ingredient, it refers to the simple household sugar.
