Thyme twigs can be tied into small bouquets and cooked in sauces, soups or stews. So the thyme twigs can be easily removed again. Otherwise you can pluck the small leaves of the thyme twigs and sprinkle them into the sauce. Thyme twigs are only added at the end of the cooking time so that vitamins and aroma are better preserved.
