Metaxa

metaxa

Metaxa is a Greek brandy, named after its founder Spyros Metaxader. Its taste is more fruity and softer than that of normal brandy. Metaxa has a particularly dark, almost reddish colour. Metaxa exists in different qualities, which are marked by stars. For example, there is a 5 star or 7 star Metaxa. The Premium Metaxa has been stored in oak barrels for at least 15 years. Metaxa contains 40% vol. Alcohol. Metaxa is of course a pure pleasure, but Metaxa is also particularly suitable for refining sauces such as the well-known Metaxa sauce.
