Lemon slices

Lemon slices

To decorate cocktails, long drinks, cakes or desserts you often need lemon slices. Please use only untreated lemons for this. But also fish is often served with fresh lemon slices. For dishes that you eat with your fingers, you can put a small bowl of lukewarm water with lemon peel, so that the guest can clean his fingers in between, without having to get up from the table. Don't forget to put a cloth napkin next to it so that you can dry your fingers again. The rest of the lemons can be kept in the fridge for a few more days if you put them in a screw lid glass, for example. Remaining lemon slices can also be dried and used to decorate bouquets of dried flowers or as pendants for Christmas trees and gifts.
