Lemon balm

Lemon balm tastes fresh, slightly spicy, similar to lemons. Lemon balm smells intensely of lemons. The leaves are used to decorate and refine desserts, to flavour mineral water, long drinks or cocktails. Lemon balm can be used to make tea. Salads and herbs butter can also be prepared with lemon balm. Lemon balm is not cooked, but sprinkled over herb sauces or fish shortly before serving.
