Large mushrooms

Big mushrooms are also called giant mushrooms. They're usually white. When buying, make sure that the hats have no pressure points and that the meat is firm. The skin and stalks must be smooth and dry. The slats on the underside of the hat should be closed. The same applies to large mushrooms, which should be consumed as quickly as possible. You can also store them for a day in the vegetable compartment of the fridge. It is sufficient to simply rub the large mushrooms with a clean cotton cloth. Possibly cut off a small piece of the interface on the stem if it no longer looks good. To fill the large mushrooms, carefully unscrew the stalk. It can be cut into fine cubes and mixed with the filling, e.g. minced meat. Or you steam the cubes in butter, season them and put them back into the hats together with fresh herbs and cheese. It is best to place the hats in a baking dish and bake them in the oven.
