Honey (English Honey, French Miel, Italian Miele, Spanish Miel) is available in over a hundred different varieties. On the photo on the left you can see light, mild and thin acacia honey. In the middle the dark, slightly spicy and less sweet liquid forest honey can be seen. On the right is a glass of light, mild and creamy clover honey. Low-viscosity honey is ideal for sweetening salad marinades or yoghurt sauces, muesli and fruit salads. Any variety can be used in warm milk and tea or as a spread on bread. Creamy honey is suitable for baking honey cake or gingerbread. When honey becomes crystallized and solid, the glass can be reheated in a water bath while stirring until it liquefies. Honey should not be warmed over 40┬░, because otherwise important contents materials get lost. Honey is very healthy and a natural sweetener, which contains fructose, dextrose and multiple sugars as well as enzymes, vitamins, minerals, proteins and trace elements.
