Glass asparagus

Glass asparagus

Depending on the manufacturer, a glass of asparagus contains approx. 330 g, with a drained net weight of approx. 200 g of asparagus. The asparagus is usually peeled by hand and can vary in thickness. Asparagus from the glass has already been precooked and only needs to be heated for a short time. It can also be cut into small pieces and used for salads. Asparagus from the glass has the advantage that it can be stored in stock and can therefore also be accessed outside the asparagus season.
