Fresh yeast

Fresh yeast

Fresh yeast is offered in cubes of 42 g. In some recipes I have also used ready "yeast dough" as an ingredient. Fresh yeast makes cakes or bread rise easily. Dissolve fresh yeast in lukewarm liquid. If it is too cold or too hot, the driving force is lost. Prepare yeast dough with the indicated quantities and knead sufficiently before adding more liquid or flour, if necessary. The rising times may vary depending on the temperature.
