Fresh cress

Fresh cress or also called garden cress, comes from the cruciferous family. It is an annual plant, but usually does not grow out but is harvested at a very early stage as shoots. Cress is undemanding and easy to cultivate. It can be grown all year round in small bowls in bright places. Fresh cress has a pungent taste similar to radish or mustard.
