Fragrance Rice

Fragrance Rice is actually the general term for various types of rice that are particularly aromatic and give off a pleasant, slightly floral scent when cooked, such as jasmine rice or basmati rice. One receives it also under designation Thai smell rice, since it is used traditionally in the Thai kitchen. The scent is a natural characteristic of the scent rice and is not artificially produced by additives. Fragrance rice is slightly sticky in consistency after cooking.
