Egg yolk is also called egg yolk. The color from pale yellow to strong orange depends on the feed mixture. However, it says nothing about the quality of the egg yolk. In some recipes an egg yolk is added to an egg to give the cake, sauce or dessert a stronger colour. If you heat egg yolk e.g. for cream dishes in the water bath, the water should not be too hot, so that the egg yolk does not stick.
