Dry yeast

Dry yeast

Dry yeast is used for baking cakes or bread. It is a motive agent so that the dough becomes looser and rises. Dry yeast is available in small bags. One bag contains 8 grams of dry yeast for 500 grams of flour, equivalent to about 25 grams of fresh yeast. Dry yeast does not need to be mixed with liquid, but can be mixed directly with the flour. I have described further hints for the preparation of yeast dough under the ingredient yeast.
