Cut leek

Cut leek

Cut leek belongs to the family of onion plants. If you cut leeks in pots or in vegetable beds, the green tubes grow leaves again, so that you can harvest leeks all year round. Cut leeks can grow up to 30 cm high. In summer, violet flowers are formed, which are edible. Young cut leeks taste milder while older cut leeks develop more spiciness.
